A memorial service for the fallen legendary musician Albert Moroasehla will be held this Thursady, July 19 in Thembisa.
Ali Katt as the music maestro was popularly known in his heydays passed last week Thursday at the Thembisa Hospital after a lengthy illness.
The popular musician started his musical career back in 1976 in Thembisa in a band called STOP PUSHING and within a short space he joined a group called the Message.
With his growing popularity he joined a performing band called The Minerals performing with Kori Moraba. Ali Katt later worked with
Sound Bust where groups like CJB, BENJAMIN BALL, and JOHNNY MOKGADI were formed. Within his time in the entertainment industry Ali worked with the likes of highly decorated manager and promoter Jiza Jiza, chart topping singer- songwriter Condry Ziqubu and multi platinum selling artist and producer Thami Mdluli but to name a few. Ali Katt will be remembered for the hit single ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ from his album Have Mercy produced by Godfrey Nzuza which was later remixed by Kabelo Mabalane.
