NESTLÈ MILO provides an experience of a lifetime for South African Children at Camp Nou with FC Barcelona

SIX children aged between 7 – 12 years old had a life changing experience when Nestlé MILO flew them recently on an all-expenses-paid trip to Barcelona to train with one of the world’s leading football club – FC Barcelona.
Through this unique partnership with FC Barcelona, Nestlé MILO is championing the future and fuelling our children’s ambitions. With a jam-packed itinerary, these children had the opportunity to learn from world class coaches, train with other children from around the world and experience tourism in the city of Barcelona.
By purchasing Nestlé MILO® breakfast energy drink products, parents stood the chance to win tickets for their children to train at FC Barcelona Escola in Spain. The winners of the trip: (Jaden Naidoo, Ryan Palmer, Buhle Ntlanti, Katlego Peete, Kagiso Moremedi and Mosana Oratile) joined other children from Malaysia, Philipines, Jamaica, Chile and Colombia for training sessions at Barça Academy in true champion style and experienced first-hand the global stage in sport. They had a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit the MiniEstadi and Camp Nou, the home stadium of FC Barcelona where legends such as Lionel Messi, Gerard Piqúe and Luis Suárez display their football expertise.
Cindy Palmer says that it was the first time that her 12 year-old son John Ryan Palmer had been on a plane and travelling to Spain. He had expressed his excitement that he couldn’t believe it was real. He got to train at FC Barcelona and had a lot of fun.
Logical Mpande said that his daughter Buhle Ntlanti, who was also the only girl out of the six children, enjoyed visiting the camp and commented numerous times on the beauty of Barcelona. He also said, “I could not believe the amount of stamina the children had especially because they were training twice a day”.
