THAMIA IS POSITIVE OF FLYING THE MPUMALANGA FLAG HIGH DURING MISS EAGLE SA

Full of hope…Thania will be representing Mpumalanga in the forthcoming Miss Eagle SA.

WHAT started as a hobby is fast proving to be the future career for Thamia Mhlanga, the Miss Eagle South Africa 2018 finalist.
The 19 year-old beauty with brains young model from Kabokweni outside Mpumalanga’s capital, Nelspruit will be representing her province during the finals of Miss Eagle SA (MESA) schedule for Durban on December 17.
“I am still in cloud nine to have made it in the final list of the models from across the country who will be competing for the crown at national level. The journey through to this finalists stage was tough, but I thank God and everyone who has been supporting me from the very beginning through to this stage,” said Thamia who those who admires her call her Neo
In an exclusive interview with our sister publication, Lepelle Review, Thamia said she consider herself very lucky to be in this finalists stage because her modeling career just started two years ago.
“I didn’t really have much time to focus on modeling as my high school studies was consuming a lot of my time until the day I completed my matric,” said Thamia whose journey in modeling started in 2016 after she completed her matric at Valencia Combined School.
In her first attempt as a professional model, Thamia tried her luck at Miss eGame where she successfully made it in the finalists.
“That was when I decided to grab the opportunity of entering Miss Eagle SA on October 27 in 2018, and the rest is history,” explained Thamia.
Now a brand ambassador for motofind.co.za, Thamia said MESA has given me a platform to be able to take care of her community by giving back to the needy people.
“By doing that I have learnt to always lookout for the community. As the founder of Save One Nation Organisation, I am willing to help community even more and always #SaveOneNation,” she said.
One biggest challenges that made me even more productive as an Eagle and never give up, continued Thamia: “was to reflect back to my life and how I grew up, and by doing so I had to write my own book named “Journey of my life.”
