TOMORROW (Saturday, October 17) will be a remarkable day for Wisani Innocent Mathebula Aka Daddie Vandal when be officially launching his clothing brand, Daddie Vandal.
The Soweto lads told Sports Focus that the launch tomorrow by his main company, the Daddie Vandal production (D.V Production) at the Butcher Pub, Killarney opposite the Phomolong station in Soweto will be like a dream come true for him.
“It has been a long road and I am excited that finally my dream to launch my own clothing brand is finally happening,” said Mathebula who has added that the event will be graced by some of Soweto’s best DJs.
Mathebula who is an IT specialist said his love for fashion and promoting kasie style was the main motivation to establish the Daddie Vandal Clothing Brand which started as a dream in 2013.
The success he’s achieved through the brand has earned him the nickname of the real Vandal Dream Maker as well as a reputation through the whole of SOWETO “Not only was my dream achieved after the establishment of this clothing brand, but it also open a number of job opportunities for people around Soweto. Some were hired as handy men and women for the brand while fashion agencies and models also got an opportunity of promoting the brand via fashion parades and so on,” explained Mathebula.
Since 2013, Daddie Vandal has become popular around Soweto and their clients include churches, pre-schools and schools. Their popular products include, caps and t-shirts.
At the beginning of 2014, He responded to the huge number of friends requests from facebook and twitter, Daddie extended his reach to include everything that people want because he is doing it for ikasi.
While he’s out of Soweto working his own special brand of vh@dn, his business partner pro Nash make sure that the dreams of Sowetans don’t get forgotten as he guest host the brand and keep it moving, continuing to make things happen while Daddie is away.
Back to the launch tomorrow, the event will starts at 3pm until the next day (Sunday, October 18).
The Master of Ceremonies will include Jiggy, Mdondo (Strike Apose winner) and the man himself, Daddie Vandal while on the stage will be Ruff Kidd, T-Blade, Vandal, Emdee, Trouble, Chaka Dolla, Sjovo, Bopha, Froz, Chazzola, Captive Pro with the following DJs on the Decks: Dj mpopo, Dj Mpz, Dj Power, Dj j-tap, Jameson, Vedic and many more…
