PROFESSIONAL GOLFER Adilson da Silva is looking forward to adding on yet another victory to his seven other wins from the Sunshine Tour.
Da Silva will once again try his luck in the field after a rough patch lately. The Brazilian-born has not been having it easy after struggling in his past two matches, and chances are that he is not likely to get any better in this one.
The 38 year-old will face rivals Jean Hugo and Michiel Bothma who are the world’s best currently, and Da Silva is guaranteed a tough outing in this match.
The Durban-based Da Silva will be returning to the roots of his first title win that happened in the same venue 13 years ago at Wild Coast Sun, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Besides the much anticipated tough competition for Da Silva, the weather seems also pose a threat to the victory that he’s highly anticipating.
“I think the weather is going to play a big part,” he said. Obviously Jean (Hugo) knows how to play in the wind, so for me this week it is all about keeping it in play and making a couple of putts, and hopefully that will be enough.” He added.
