Doritos snack it up stylishly

HAVING attracted close to a staggering 46 000 Facebook followers and a multitude of entries last year, deserving winners of the popular Doritos Late Night competition have been finally revealed.

To spice it up the competition celebrity artists such as Grammy winning sensation Rihanna, South African hip-hop trio Teargas, and other acts were roped in for the exclusive 360 degrees music video.

The winner of the Mini Cooper S Convertible is Shelley Pembroke from Johannesburg, followed by three runners-up Nomthandazo Primrose Shezi, Nwabisa Mtiya and Shelley du Plessis, who walk away with an awesome Apple iPad.

Doritos South Africa- the brains behind the concept- is over the moon with the outstanding response to the competition, which was held to coincide with the international launch of the new Doritos Late Night All Nighter Chilli Ribs flavour.

For a limited period, packs of the new Doritos flavour have been printed with a graphic symbol known as an augmented reality marker on the back.

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed pushing the envelope with regards to technology, putting South African talent on the global stage and engaging with Doritos consumers in new and exciting ways whilst adding flavour to their most spectacular Late Night experiences,” says Hlophe.

Pointing a webcam at this symbol while visiting www.doritoslatenight.com, would enable the viewer to watch music videos by the said musos.
