KAIZER Chiefs fans will be relieved to hear the news that their star striker, Lehlohonolo Majoro is back to action after he resume to training with the rest of teammates this morning.
Majoro has been out of action for a little while after picking up an ankle injury.
Yesterday Chiefs’ physiotherapist, Dave Milner was quoted on Chiefs’ official website that: “Majoro has been doing a little bit of running and he should be ready to start training with the team tomorrow. We will monitor his progress.”
The Chiefs website also reported that rightback, Lawrence Molekwane, who has spent four weeks out due to injury, will undergo assessment by the team doctors and might be ready to start with some training in two weeks time.
Majoro is Chiefs’ leading goal-scorer after having rattled the net four times in league matches by far and he is expected to be part of the starting line-up when the mighty Amakhosi take on Santos this coming Saturday.
The match is scheduled for Polokwane’s Peter Mokaba Stadium in Limpopo and kick-off is at 8.15pm
Chiefs who are second on the log with 20 points will be looking forward to win this Absa Premiership match against the visiting Cape side so as to narrow the gap between themselves and log leaders, SuperSport United who are topping the log with 24 points. Additional report by Kaizer Chiefs website.
Meanwhile Kaizer Chiefs and Sports Focus are giving away 20 double tickets to readers to go and watch this match.
