NATASHA Hands of Compassion Team South Africa has under this Covid-19 pandemic extended their hands for the good cost to make the difference in the people’s continued recently when distributed tons of food parcels, sanitary and tissues pads to the needy and less privilege families.
This time, the distribution was done at the dusty rural village of Matome in Zebediela, Limpopo where a number of deserving families and young girls were the main beneficiaries.
Natasha Hands of Compassion’s assistant director and coordinator in South Africa, Monene Audrey Maluleka told Lepelle Review that they saw a need to come and distribute food parcels and sanitary pads to the village of Matome as most of people in that village are living in poverty and without jobs.
“We are aware that there are so many other areas throughout the country which live under the same conditions, but this time we have chosen Matome to distribute these parcels, and we are looking forward to extend our campaigns to other provinces,” added Maluleka
According to Maluleka, Natasha Hands of Compassion which is based in Pretoria is an organization started in Kenya by Rev Lucy Natasha, the visionary of the organization with the aim of bridging the poverty gap among the needy families
“I was moved to see the joy and happiness of the recipients. Some said they had nothing to eat on the day they received the food parcels,” said Maluleka.
Maluleka added: “We would like to thank Rev Natasha for being an answer to our prayers, and her words and I quote…We give not because we have but because we care.”
