The Eredivisie is the top-tier of Dutch football. Operating in 1963 and overseen by the Royal Dutch Football Association, here 18 teams compete annually in a traditional league round-robin format. So each of them plays all the others twice during the season – once at home and once away.

Together, they have captured all but six Eredivisie titles.
