

South African cricketers Aiden Markram and Reeza Hendricks have secured their positions within the top ten of the ICC T20 Batting rankings.
Markram, the Proteas captain, maintains his third-place ranking among T20 batters with 758 points and has risen to second place in the all-rounder rankings with 212 points. Meanwhile, Reeza Hendricks climbed to eighth place in the batting rankings.
In the bowling rankings, Rashid Khan has ascended to joint-first, sharing the spot with India’s Ravi Bishnoi, who was not selected for the South Africa tour. South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi moved up to the eighth position, climbing from 12th to 654 points.
Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav fortified his top position in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings after a rapid half-century in the second T20I against South Africa in Gqeberha. He leads the rankings with 865 rating points, having scored 56 from 36 deliveries in the recent match.
In other developments, Rinku Singh of India has leaped 46 places to 59th among batters following his unbeaten 68 from 39 balls in the T20I, achieving a career-best 464 rating points.
In the Test cricket scene, the ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings saw shifts following the 1-1 series tie between Bangladesh and New Zealand. Glenn Phillips from New Zealand made significant progress in all three lists, reaching career-best points. He surged 59 slots to 55th among batters with 502 points, climbed 20 places to 65th in the bowling rankings with 290 points, and advanced 42 slots to 24th among all-rounders with 145 points.
