THE clock is ticking fast, and the South African Schools Football Association (Sasfa) is appealling all the schools to register for the association’s competitions in time.
Sasfa’ national competitions coordinator Themba “Shakes” Tshabalala said the registrations started last week and that some of them will close by the end of this month.
Sanlam Kay Motsepe Cup and Coca Cola Football Stars’ registration closes on January 31, Danone Nations Cup (February 18), Milo Champions (February 25) and Mcdonald (February 28).
“We encourage all the schools to register as early as possible to avoid last minute rush. Registration forms of all the competitions are available at the education circuits across the country. We are appealing to teachers and sports organizers to do the right with by stopping to cheat as this will destroy the poor child’s future in football,” said Tshabalala.
