Young and beautiful, Neo Thamia Mhlanga at the Barnyard Suncoast Casino and Theatre, Durban where Miss Eagle South Africa was held last year.AFTER her success in the Miss Eagle South Africa (MESA), Neo Thamia Mhlanga is now fixing her eyes on the 5th Annual Face of Emalahleni.
The 19 year-old Nelspruit born model who is a Human Resource Management N6 at Nkangala FET Colle IN Middelburg tells Sports Focus that she has learnt a lot from the MESA.
The soft-spoken young model was crowned Mpumalanga Royal Princess for the MESA in 2017 and went on to represent the province of Mpumalanga in the competition at national level which was held at the Barnyard Suncoast Casino and Theatre, Durban on December 17 last year.
“I had to work my way up as a contestant until the semi-finals whereby I had to compete for the Express South Africa title. Unfortunately I did not make it as the Empress South Africa winner, but took Mpumalanga Royal Princess representing both Mbombela and Middelburg,” remises Thamia.
With the Annual Face of Emalahleni competition as her next step, Thamia believes that she will use her experience gained from MESA to empower herself to do well in the forthcoming competition. For the record, the Annual Face of Emalahleni 2019 will be held on October 12 at the Ridge.
“From the MESA, I have learnt that the sky is not the limit and as a woman, you should never give up but continuously follow your dreams in order to have the ability to inspire other young women and the community as a whole to progress. My participation in the MESA has made me realise that I have the ability to take care of my community and giving back to the needy people,” pointed out Thamia.
She added that: “As people, we do not come from the same background and God does not give everyone the privilege but does give the resources and brains to young people to be able to help the underprivileged people around you.”
Thamia says her believe is that those who have a helping hand and blessed beyond abundantly and as a reigning Mpumalanga Royal Princess, she wish to wish to continuously help the adapted homes in her community
“People who are interested in donating unwanted clothes or sponsoring my organization can contact me telephonically and on my social media,” she pleads.
Thamia is also appealing to those who are willing to help bring justice to the community #SaveOneNation
#JusticeForAll.
