Tuks maintain their top spot

 

THE University of Pretoria held on to top spot with a convincing away win against Dynamos in Giyani yesterday.  

Tuks, as the varsity side is known, have 37 points from 17 games while their closest rival, Thanda Thanda Zulu, had their match postponed.

Thanda, who had to face United FC in Kimberley, will play their game at a date to be announced.

African Warriors were held to a 2-all draw by FC Cape Town. Carara Kicks added to the woes of bottom of the log Witbank Spurs by beating them 3-2 in Witbank.

Atlie FC beat Black Aces 1-0 and now both Witbank clubs are occupying the rear of the NFD table.

Bay United were held 1-1 by NFD rookies Sivutsa Stars and Blackburn Rovers game against FC AK ended 1-1 as weel

NFD newcomers Chippa United proved their mettle once again when they beat fellow Cape Town side Vasco Da Gama 1-0 at the Phillipi Stadium.-PSL Website
